Llama 2 is being released with a very permissive community license and is available for research and commercial use.
Token Counts Refer to Pretraining Data Only
The token counts refer to pretraining data only. All models are trained with a global batch-size of 8192.
Llama 2 Version Release Date: Monthly Active Users
If on the Llama 2 version release date, the monthly active users of the products or services made available by or for a user exceed 100,000, then the user must provide notice to Meta within thirty (30) days of the end of the calendar month in which such threshold was reached.
